Infant Program
The Infant Program provides a warm and loving atmosphere for each and every child. Nurturing our children to the fullest is always our top priority.
Facilitating the growth and development of each individual infant is paramount when purchasing equipment for the room. While awake, the infants are stimulated through age appropriate activities such as touch, song, gross motor activities, fine motor activities, water play, multicultural music, and stories.
Younger infants are given a variety of interesting items to see, hear, and touch. They use grasping toys that allow them to produce effects, which also promotes their interest in exploration.
Older infants are given a variety of items to explore and manipulate. Not only do they use toys that allow the children to produce interesting effects, but they also support the development of perceptual, fine motor, and gross motor skills.
Art and sensory projects are done daily. Mirrors are used to support the development of self-awareness in all infants. Age appropriate music is played in the room throughout the day. Infants are taken outside daily, weather permitting.
