Our Minee Subee City Director

Welcome to Minee Subee City. My name is Betty Hall and I am the Director here. I have been a part of the Minee Subee family for over five years as an assistant director and the kindergarten teacher before taking over as Director. During this time, I have had the opportunity to teach and care for all of the children in the Center. In all of the classrooms, I have always strived to give the children all of the tools necessary to become successful in their endeavors and at the different stages in their lives. As a Director, I will continue to have the same passion for the education and care of all of the children in my center.

My educational background is a B.S. in Elementary Education with 18 hours in Early Childhood Education and a minor in music from Northern Illinois University. Before coming to Minee Subee, I had the opportunities to teach first grade in Chicago and music and third grade in Waukegan. In each position that I have held over the past 11 years, I have learned that children succeed when they feel that they are in a place that is safe and that the people around them truly care about them.

The best part of my position is that I have the opportunity to enjoy all of the children for their unique personalities. Seeing each child's progress and hearing them tell me about something that they just discovered allows me to rediscover the world around us. As a teacher and now as a Director, I will always work towards having each child in my care have the best education and care that can be offered.
