Our Minee Subee Grand Director

Hello and welcome to Minee Subee Grand. My name is Beth Katz and I'm the Director of Minee Subee Grand in Arlington Heights. I'm a member of the family that owns Minee Subee, which means that I have been here since the beginning. Growing up in the Minee Subee environment has given me the opportunity to be an Early Childhood Educator for all age groups from six weeks through twelve years of age.

My education includes Certification in the Administration of Early Childhood programs, an Associates Degree from Harper College, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University.

I have been a Minee Subee Director for ten years. As a Director, I have had the extreme pleasure of not only working with fabulous educators, but terrific families as well. Because of the fulfillment I have found in the career I have chosen, I know that many more years of gratification are yet to come.

I serve on the Professional Development Committee and the Professional Standards Council for the Illinois Child Care Association. In addition, I serve on the Professional Development Committee for the National Child Care Association. Monthly training sessions are required for the staff of all Minee Subees, and I have had the pleasure of designing most of the programs. Some of the session topics include Child Development, Health and Safety, Playground Safety, and Professionalism.
